McFinn Lovere is a Northern California writer, ALS activist @everythingals.org, and former executive director of Valley Hospice, in Yuba City CA. He was diagnosed with ALS, an incurable, terminal condition, at the age of 55. Fourteen plus years later, he tells the remarkable story of how he went from almost total paralysis to living a normal life.
